Additional $5 Million Available for Heat Pump Water Heater Equity Incentives
Additional funds are now available for single family heat pump water heater equity incentives in Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E), San Diego Gas & Electric Company (SDG&E), and Southern California Gas Company (SoCalGas) service areas as of today, April 22, 2024.

PG&E, SDG&E, and SoCalGas Service Area Funding Update
Today, April 22, 2024, TECH Clean California allocated $5 million of additional equity funds to existing available single family equity incentives in the PG&E, SDG&E, and SoCalGas service areas making existing incentives more readily available. As reflected in the incentive budget, TECH Clean California allocated $500,000 for PG&E, $500,000 for SDG&E, and $4 million for SoCalGas service areas.
Participants can use the Switch is On Incentive Lookup tool to verify incentive availability based on zip code.
In the near future, TECH Clean California will release additional single family market rate incentive funding, as well. Incentive levels for single family market rate incentives will be reduced in some areas. We will communicate more details as soon as possible.
The TECH Clean California initiative is funded by California ratepayers and taxpayers and administered by Southern California Edison Company under the auspices of the California Public Utilities Commission.
