120-day timeline for reservations approved on or after November 25, 2025

Single-family rebate reservations approved on or after November 25, 2025, will have up to 120 days from the reservation approval date to install the heat pump HVAC and submit a claim with complete documentation in Iris. This deadline is for projects statewide and reflects the terms in the TPPA.

Projects that are not submitted within 120 days of their reservation approval will have their reservations cancelled, and funds will no longer be reserved and available for the project.

As we approach the limit of currently available single-family funding for HEEHRA Phase I, TECH Clean California will reach out to contractors to ask which projects will and will not move forward. This outreach will enable us to determine budget availability for the waitlist.
