Get your students “Heat Pump Ready”

HVAC instructors can receive access to heat pump curriculum and manufacturer-led training, with qualifying schools eligible for up to $8,000 in equipment.

Heat Pump Ready is a statewide training program led by TECH Clean California in partnership with ESCO Institute and leading HVAC manufacturers designed to support residential HVAC training programs. Together, we can support California’s heat pump goals by preparing the next generation of skilled residential HVAC installers.

By registering for the program, participating instructors will have access to ESCO Institute’s High-Performance Heat Pump course, curriculum and credentialing support, and certificate earning, manufacturer-led heat pump training.

Plus, qualifying schools are eligible for up to $8,000 of heat pump equipment through TECH Clean California, allowing students to gain real-world, hands-on experience with the technology. Equipment eligibility is for new participating schools.

Funding is limited and available only while supplies last. Instructors are encouraged to enroll here, starting on February 2, 2026, and get students heat pump ready!
