New GGRF Funds will Help Incentives Reach More Californians

July 29, 2024

$25 million has recently been added to the TECH Clean California Single Family Heat Pump HVAC budget on the budget table. TECH Clean California was awarded this new funding through the state of California’s Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund (GGRF), administered by the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC). View the updated Incentive Budget to see this newly added funding.

The GGRF funds are in place to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, strengthen the economy, improve public health and the environment, and provide benefits to residents of disadvantaged communities, low-income communities, and low-income households. You can read more about these investments at the California Climate Investment website.

Incentive structures and program rule changes will be coming late summer/early fall, but until then, please continue participating under the current rule structure.

Stay tuned for more information and updates.
