Learn & Earn Program Status
This program has reached capacity.
As of February 2, 2024, the Learn & Earn program will not be accepting new requests for equipment. Due to overwhelming interest in this program, we are investigating the potential of additional funding. However, potential participants in the queue may drop out and open more availability for Learn & Earn participants soon. Should this happen, we will announce availability for this program. Check back here for more updates in the future!

What does that mean for contractors?
Existing equipment orders will be fulfilled while supplies last. If a contractor is in our system with a partially completed request, we may ask that they complete any final requirements and submit their request form by March 31, 2024.
What is a partially completed request?
If a contractor has started to complete any of the three prerequisite milestones, but not all of them, this is considered a partially completed request. See below for requirements based on the contractor’s status:
- TECH & ESMAC Attendance Status
- Requirement: Please attend and complete the training by signing up at this link. Please note that the last available training to complete the requirement before our deadline is February 28, 2024.
- Manufacturer Training Completion Status
- Requirement: Please select at least one of the approved Learn & Earn Manufacturer trainings shown on this article and follow the instructions on the page to attend. The manufacturer will notify us of your attendance once you’ve completed this task.
- TECH Enrollment Status
- Requirement: Please coordinate with our account management team via TECH.contractor@energy-solution.comto complete your TECH Clean California onboarding.

Yes, if you turn in a lead on or after February 2, they will not be eligible for the program.
That is entirely at your discretion. As this is also a part of the TECH Clean California Heat Pump Water Heater training, you may consider it. However, we will not be tracking it until further notice.
If funding permits, we will announce the acceptance of new equipment requests.
Yes, if we have not received it yet, they will still have to provide it as part of the terms and conditions of the program being that they received the unit(s).
