Contractors can Get Ready to Offer Customers new HVAC Incentives and HEEHRA Rebates
October 25, 2024
Starting today, both contractors enrolled in TECH Clean California and those new to the initiative can become certified to offer single family HEEHRA rebates. And, by taking this certification training, contractors will also learn about program updates to both TECH Clean California and 3CE single family HVAC incentives.
HEEHRA rebates and TECH Clean California and 3CE incentives are expected to be available in November!
Already-enrolled TECH Clean California contractors will receive information with directions on how to become HEEHRA-certified.
New-to-TECH Clean California contractors can begin the enrollment process here.
Once the program is launched, TECH Clean California contractors with the HEEHRA qualification will work with customers to verify their income level and help customers access HEEHRA rebates and TECH Clean California incentives (as well as other utility and equipment incentives) -- to save as much as they can on eligible heat pump equipment.
Rebates and incentives are not retroactive. Customers can sign up for updates delivered right to their inbox from The Switch Is On at switchison.org/newsletter.
HEEHRA is an Inflation Reduction Act (IRA)-funded program that is managed by the California Energy Commission. The CEC is distributing the first phase of HEEHRA funds through TECH Clean California.
