Market Rate Incentives Fully Reserved in PG&E Service Area
February 6, 2024
Since our recent communication about remaining incentive funding, single family market rate incentives are fully reserved in PG&E service area as of this morning. However, single family Equity incentives are still available.
Impact of PG&E Territory Funding
As of today, no new market rate sales in PG&E service area will be eligible after February 5, 2024. Contractors have until the end of the day today, February 6, 2024, to get claims created in our online system for jobs sold yesterday, February 5, 2024, or prior. No claims created after February 6, 2024, will be accepted. No claims with signed Customer Terms & Conditions dated after February 5, 2024, will be accepted. TECH Clean California cannot guarantee payment for claims created today February 6, 2024.
TECH Clean California will be assessing the final budget impacts of all reservations created today before confirming which claims can be funded. If all claims created on February 6, 2024, cannot be funded, funding will be allocated in the order created. We will update all contractors about which of these February 6, 2024, claims can be funded as soon as possible.
Understand that this happened quickly and may be challenging for everyone to manage. After sending a notification on Friday about the remaining funds, those funds were reserved. As mentioned previously, TECH Clean California hopes to reopen incentives in the near future.
Single family market rate Incentives are still available in SMUD and all other service areas. Again, single family Equity incentives are still available in all service areas, including PG&E.
