Empower Your Community to Achieve California’s Climate Goals

Help make clean space and water heating technologies accessible to more Californians through community engagement and education.

Why Get Involved?

The transition to clean space heating and air conditioning is here. With over $1 billion in federal, state, and local incentive funding available to support home electrification, it is crucial that both contractors and community members are informed about the benefits of heat pumps. In some areas, local policies may mandate electric solutions, banning gas. Get involved and keep your community informed about upcoming policy changes and incentives.

Empower Your Community

The transition to clean space and water heating depends upon local community adoption. Get involved and become a knowledgeable resource on clean energy solutions, helping your community transition to cleaner, greener energy through electrification. Your efforts as a community leader help ensure that all Californians, especially those most affected by extreme weather conditions, can be part of this important transformation.

Here’s how you can get involved:

Learn about the benefits of electrification for residential homes by watching our Community-Based Organization (CBO) Electrification Training video to become a source of knowledge for your community.

Inform your community about electrification solutions, product incentives, workforce development and training opportunities, and local and state policies that impact your community.

Share consumer resources and increase awareness of The Switch is On to learn more and find incentives and rebates.

Bring Efficiency to Your Community with Electrification Training

TECH Clean California offers FREE training sessions on electrification in California. By attending one of our training sessions, you will learn about the benefits of electrification compared to gas in residential buildings and how to communicate these benefits to your community. As an involved community-based organization, you will be prepared to answer questions and inform your neighbors about upcoming rebates and incentives.
