San Fernando Valley Incentive Training is Now Available

Contractors can now register for training to offer incentives in the San Fernando Valley!

Contractors in the San Fernando Valley area will be able to offer TECH Clean California incentives for heat pump HVAC, heat pump water heaters, and other efficient electric technologies later this summer. These incentives are designed to help customers in this area reduce household exposure to natural gas.

Contractors will need to take training focused on the specific equipment type they would like to install. Trainings are already available for this month and next. Choose the training that works for you.

For contractors installing heat pump water heaters only:

3-day online webinar:

July 29 –31, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., each day

1-day in-person classes:

August 17 & 18 in Torrance

August 19 & 20 in Cypress

For contractors installing heat pump HVAC, heat pump water heaters, and more:

3-day in-person classes:

August 19 – 21 in Van Nuys

August 24 – 26 (location to be announced)

San Fernando Valley incentives will be available only to contractors with C-20, C-36, or General B licenses who have completed TECH Clean California’s free program training and enrolled in TECH Clean California. (Please note that contractors currently enrolled in TECH Clean California will need to complete the new program training requirements and sign a new participation agreement. More information will be coming soon regarding these requirements.)
