Qualified Product Lists for San Fernando Valley Incentives

To receive TECH Clean California San Fernando Valley incentives, the equipment installed must meet program eligibility rules.

To confirm whether the equipment is eligible for San Fernando Valley incentives, please view the following Qualified Product Lists (QPLs).

Air-Source Heat Pump HVAC

Qualifications

Eligible air-source units must be ENERGY STAR® listed models. Products can be 2-stage or variable capacity systems. Single-stage systems are ineligible.

New gas furnaces and hybrid systems cannot be installed as part of the heat pump project. 3-part AHRI systems are not allowed.

Search for eligible equipment using the AHRI number, ENERGY STAR® ID, or other product filters, including an "Eligible for TECH Clean California" filter.

Air-to-Water Heat Pumps

Qualifications

• Features a refrigerant to water, or water/glycol heat exchange.
• Must provide space heating.
• Can achieve a heating coefficient of performance of 1.7 or greater at full load capacity at a dry bulb outdoor temperature of 5°F.
• Can achieve a leaving water temperature of at least 110°F.

Heat Pump Water Heaters

Qualifications

All equipment must be California Energy Commission (CEC) JA13 certified and must have an active listing on one of the following connectivity/communication certification lists:

• Flex Load Connectivity Endorsement on the NEAA Residential Heat Pump Water Heater Qualified Products List
• AHRI 1430 Compliant on the AHRI Residential Water Heater Database
• Connected Capable on the ENERGY STAR® certified HPWH list.
